Austin Anxiety Therapist

Warm, evidence-based anxiety counseling in Austin — for chronic worry, panic, perfectionism, and the high-functioning anxiety that no one else notices.

Anxiety doesn't always look like anxiety. Sometimes it's the constant mental replay, the tight chest before meetings, the 3 a.m. wake-ups, the perfectionism that keeps you moving but never lets you rest.

At Haven & Harbor, anxiety therapy is grounded in what actually works — CBT, MBCT, IFS, and EMDR when the anxiety is trauma-rooted — and paced so your nervous system can settle rather than white-knuckle through it.

What we treat

  • • Generalized anxiety and chronic worry
  • • Panic attacks and health anxiety
  • • Social anxiety and performance anxiety
  • • Perfectionism and high-functioning anxiety
  • • Trauma-linked anxiety and hypervigilance
  • • Anxiety inside faith and religious deconstruction

What therapies do you use for anxiety?

A mix of CBT, MBCT, IFS, and EMDR when the anxiety is trauma-rooted. The blend depends on your nervous system and what's actually driving the worry.
